ATPF Virtual Parent Mentor Night

Registration

  • If you are a parent new to the autism diagnosis, or are looking for more resources for you and your child/teen/young adult on the spectrum in your family's autism journey.
  • If you are a professional, therapist or experienced ATPF Parent who wants to pay it forward and share your knowledge to mentor parents new to the autism diagnosis.
  • Volunteers are needed to take pictures of our ATPF parents and parent mentors connecting over Zoom and then sending those pictures to our team to share on social media.

Founded in 2003, the ATPF Parent Mentor Program is a way to provide face-to-face support in a caring and warm environment for families new to the autism diagnosis. Mentors are both parents and professionals with strong knowledge of autism spectrum disorders in addition to a passion and commitment for empowering those who face the daily challenges of raising or educating a child with autism.

Mentors are there to lend an ear, help families problem solve, find the help they need for their child and offer emotional support.
