Join us for a evening created especially for parents and caregivers of children on the spectrum. In a welcoming, relaxed setting, you’ll have the opportunity to connect with others, share stories, and feel supported by people who truly understand your journey.

Enjoy dinner together as we build a community rooted in connection, encouragement, and self-care. With the support of experienced parent mentors, we’ll learn from one another and uplift each other through both the challenges and the beautiful moments of raising and educating our children.

This is a caregiver-focused event for adults only.

Important Registration & Attendance Information

Because many of our events have waitlists, we'll send a confirmation text from 619-222-4465 and a confirmation email from info@autismtree.org a few days before each event. If we don't receive a response through either method by the confirmation deadline (typically within 48 hours), your spot may be offered to a family on the waitlist.

Autism Tree events are community-based and made possible by our amazing volunteers. To help ensure a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable experience for everyone, parents and caregivers must remain present and actively supervise their child(ren) throughout the event.

If you've confirmed your attendance but can no longer attend, please notify us as soon as possible. Confirmed participants who do not attend without notice may have registration privileges paused for up to three months. Join Dancers With Heart's Super Stars Dance Intensive!

Autism Tree’s community partner, Dancers With Heart, has invited our community to participate in their Super Stars Dance Intensive—an inclusive dance program that brings together individuals of all abilities through the joy of movement, music, and performance.

This program provides a welcoming and supportive environment where dancers can build confidence, express themselves creatively, develop new skills, and form meaningful friendships. Guided by compassionate instructors, volunteers, and dance mentors, participants will explore rhythm, coordination, and self-expression while having fun and celebrating their unique strengths.

A special performance opportunity is included as part of the program! Because dancers will be preparing together throughout the intensive, attendance and commitment to all rehearsals are strongly encouraged to ensure everyone feels confident, prepared, and successful on performance day.

Autism Tree is partnering with La Costa Canyon High School’s National Honors Society to host an afternoon of movement, creativity, and fun at the North Park Recreation Center!

Organized and led by Emily Ginsberg, this inclusive event pairs each participant with a dedicated LCC NHS buddy for an interactive experience filled with adaptive dance, creative crafts, games, and imaginative play. Move, Create & Connect provides a warm, welcoming environment where participants can express themselves, build confidence, and form meaningful friendships through shared activities.

Suggested Age Range: Open to all ages and abilities!

Join us for a fun afternoon at our USD Mentor Program Football Meet & Greet! Families are invited to watch the USD Football Team scrimmage beginning at 2:00 PM. While enjoying the game, you'll also have the opportunity to participate in crafts and activities with our mentor program.

At the end of the scrimmage, we will officially pair mentors and buddies for the season, a special moment you won't want to miss! Following the buddy pairing, families can enjoy a complimentary ice cream truck, courtesy of USD.

If your family chooses not to attend the football scrimmage, please plan to arrive and check in by 3:30 PM so you don't miss the buddy pairing and the rest of the festivities!

With fun activities, engaging conversations, and a supportive atmosphere, Spectrum Socials offers a chance to build friendships and confidence while having a great time. Come as you are, and let’s create a community where everyone feels valued and included!

The Autism Tree Girls in STEM Program works to empower girls of all ages to confidently explore the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) in a welcoming and low-pressure environment.

At each event, we explore a new area of STEM through engaging, hands-on activities. Some of our past projects include building paper roller coasters, constructing functional hand models, designing 3D bubble wands, and creating intricate Rube Goldberg machines.

Please save the date and join us for our Autism Tree 12th Annual Hybrid Global Neurodiversity Conference at the Sanford Consortium for Regenerative Medicine in La Jolla, CA on Friday, April 9, 2027!

The Autism Tree Annual Neurodiversity (formerly Neuroscience) Conference is a day-long collaboration that showcases cutting-edge findings and innovations in the field of Neuroscience and Neurodiversity, including Autism. This conference brings light to new groundbreaking research on the science of neurodiversity with the intention to foster collaborations and new ideas and create a heart connection between the global neuroscience community and families living with a neurodiverse or autistic loved one, including a panel discussion on neurodiversity from adults on the autism spectrum living successful lives.

When Autism Tree created this event in 2015, we designed it to not be your ordinary scientific meeting, but rather an encounter of people with various backgrounds and open-minds who care about autistic individuals and the neurodiverse community. We are interested in different global perspectives, so the meeting is attended by top scientists, researchers, families, foundations, donors, local media and therapists.

The Autism Tree Annual Neurodiversity Conference is chaired by Alysson Muotri, Ph.D. of the Sanford Consortium for Regenerative Medicine. It will be livestreamed on Zoom and recorded by the University of California Television (UCTV).
